The following is a listing of cordless phone frequencies. The list has
frequencies for the base and frequencies for the handsets. Generally
you will never listen to the handset frequencies because they transmit
with less power, which means less distance, and only carry one side of
the conversation. The base frequencies carry both sides of the
conversations. You should be able to hear cordless phones within a
2 block radius using the cheap telescopic whip that came with your
scanner. For further reception you can hook up an external outdoor
antenna which will GREATLY increase the distance that your scanner
can pick up conversations from cordless phones. Cordless phones operate
on 10 channels.
